Since 1984, THE PAIDEIA CONFERENCE has been explicitly committed to strengthening the financial base of the Christian school. Each year, the Conference welcomes board members, heads-of-schools, key administrators ( deans, grade-level principals, department chairs, business managers, admissions/development/
athletic directors), classroom teachers, sponsoring pastors, and parents to an informative and energizing gathering.
In October 2011, THE PAIDEIA CONFERENCE blends with the Council on Educational Standards and Accountability (CES) and the CESA SYMPOSIUM. The theme of this joint event is “Value-Added Assessment and Data-Driven Decision Making.” As a feature of this event, the recent survey of Christian school alumni (ages 23-39) conducted by CARDUS will be presented and discussed for its findings and their implication for your school’s mission and vision.
At THE PAIDEIA CONFERENCE and CESA SYMPOSIUM, you’ll meet other Christian school leaders who seek to help their institutions thrive, regardless of the current state of the economy. You’ll return to your own school ready to
• Improve relations between the board and head
• Build a stronger financial foundation on which to support your school’s mission
• Devise a working strategy for shifting to cost-based tuition and need-based financial aid
• Stimulate voluntary gift support for your annual fund
• Validate the significance of a current strategic plan
• Prepare for a successful capital campaign
• Develop and execute a marketing plan that enhances admissions recruiting
• Create a curriculum that integrates a biblical world-view with academic integrity
At THE PAIDEIA CONFERENCE and CESA SYMPOSIUM you will hear thoughtful addresses by leaders in Christian schooling and other fields, such as:
