PAIDEIA, Inc. continues to support and encourage PRIVATE SCHOOL COLLOQUIUM and its monthly ZOOM discussions. These conversations among non-public school leaders across North America and overseas take up “timely topics” and provide participants with unmatched opportunities to share their own experience and learn from others in similar or different circumstances. Most recently, the COLLOQUIUM tackled the thorny issues of various bills before Congress - such as "The Equality Bill" - whose passing will impair the independence and mission of non-public schools, especially faith-based schools and colleges.

PAIDEIA Press announces the publication of a revised edition (2020) of ASKING QUESTIONS: A Method of Teaching the Bible (Original edition, 1980).
The book, richly illustrated, promotes teaching by “inquiry” or “the inductive method.” The principal questions are “What does the text SAY? What does the text MEAN? How does the text APPLY?”
The book is intended for both formal instruction in a school or college setting as well as informal Bible study groups. Following a thorough explanation and discussion of the method, the book offers ten sample lessons based on the life of King David and selected psalms.
The book is prepared for digital distribution as a pdf of 148 pages. Upon payment of $25.00 (check or credit card), permission is granted to make one copy (presumably for insertion in a 3-ring binder). While the copy may made in black-and-white, the art and photographs in color greatly enhance the book.
Payment by check for $25.00 to PAIDEIA, Inc., PO Box 26, Stony Brook, New York 11790-0026. Payment by credit card, linking to 123 Signup
The 2016 revision of From Candy Sales to Committed Donors: A Guide to Financing Christian Schools is complete with new data, new illustrations and photographs, and new commentary by more than a dozen Christian school leaders. Originally published in 1996, the new version of From Candy Sales to Committed Donors is available in either of two formats: pdf version (to be copied once by the purchaser) or binder-bound version. The pdf version costs $45.00 and the binder-bound version costs $55.00, payable either by check or by linking to 123 Signup.
In 1952, Dr. Frank E. Gaebelein, founding headmaster of The Stony Brook School, delivered lectures at both Dallas Theological Seminary and Denver Seminary. From these lectures developed his benchmark book The Pattern of God’s Truth: Problems of Integration in Christian Education, first published in 1954 by Oxford University Press. Since then this remarkable book has never been out of print. It continues to inform and challenge teachers in Christian schools, colleges/universities, and seminaries.
